DESCRIPTION:

May, troubleshoot analyze and suggest solutions for moving entire live production BroadVision 2.5 shopping cart server environment to new physical location from it's existing location of over 3 years, with minimal downtime (8 hour drive for equipment). 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

July, Assist in finalizing implementation of moving entire live production BroadVision 2.5 server environment to new physical location from it's existing location of over 3 years, with minimal downtime (From Sunnyvale, CA area to Irvine, CA area). A total of more than 50+ servers successfully moved before deadline and under budget. This was one of the few clients to 100% follow my recommendations. They were so happy with my work, and how smoothly the transition went, they paid double the rate I billed!

TECHNOLOGIES USED: 

  • Sun Microsystems e5000, e4500's, e4000's, e450's, 220r's & 420r's, Ultra5's.
  • Solaris 2.5.1 & 2.6
  • Oracle 7.3.4
  • BroadVision (highly customized bvconf executable, using no interaction managers) 2.5.1 & 2.6
