DESCRIPTION: Company was an Internet Services Provider for Southeast Idaho based in the Idaho Falls area. Including hosting, DSL, and wireless services. Was contracted to initially clean up infrastructure after compromise, and then provide training and ongoing support as needed for other systems administrators over time, as they learned how to use the new technologies and safer security protocols.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Contracted as Information Security Specialist to audit, overhaul, and verify compromised Windows and Linux servers and core infrastructure. Completely overhauled entire ISP's infrastructure at Idaho Falls location. Replaced all servers with OpenBSD and full hardening. Setup monitoring, graphing, and alert systems. Setup Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Protections Systems (IPS) using various opensource applications and custom software development.
