ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

TECHNOLOGIES & METHODOLOGIES USED: 

Broadvision Server/Development Environment analysis, design, setup, maintain, performance tuning, and work with dozens of team members using

Broadvision 4.x in both development and production environments.

Systems design, ordering, implementation and administration of Solaris, Linux, NT/2000 E-Commerce (& other services) servers and Oracle and MS

SQL Databases

QOS agreements with average uptime requirements of 99.5% to 99.95% uptime per year for development environments and 99.995% uptime for

production sites, networks, & systems

Troubleshoot system and network LAN/WAN/Intranet issues.

Develop, implement, program, and maintain customer support procedures, apps, systems & databases. Research, analyze, report, and recommend various technology products.

Recent examples include: Netware 5.1, NDS 8, Netware Single Sign On, Solaris 8, Coldfusion on NT/Linux/Solaris and conversion, Broadvision 4.0 & 4.1 connecting to Oracle 8i, hosting facilities evaluation (Qwest, Intel, TelUS, USI, Abovenet, Xmission, Infomission, and others), Jini, online education programs at Sun and other sites, high capacity (1,000,000+ /day) email services and products, and more.

As Director of Operations for Electronic Solutions Division, built independent infrastructure for 80 users/employees, created independent corporate Information Security team.

As Corporate Systems & Components Architect performed detailed analysis of significantly diverse and non-integrated infrastructure, and provided redesign, planning, and implementation for multinational infrastructure supporting over 4,500 users in over 50 countries.

Research, recommend, design, test, implement, and administrate corporate-wide video conferencing solutions. Research, recommend, design, test, and implement complete Virtual Office & Workplace (VOW) work at home solution. Research, recommend, design, test, and implement complete Wireless Internet solution in conjunction with VOW initiative.

Research, inspect, consult with various hosting companies across US & Canada, and recommend best providers dependent on project needs and business scope.

Create, follow, and enforce project methodologies, plans, and timelines.

Contribute to budget creation and conformance.
